Yuvraj Singh

Share and Enjoy -------

... or Yuvi as we call him ... is my second favorite player in the world. First one being Sehwag.

I seriously am pretty agnostic towards the usual big-wigs of cricketing world, be it some oldie scoring 100 tons or someone taking 10 wickets in a single test match.

Its the rawness, flamboyance and aggression that makes me follow these two guys! And out of the two, only Yuvi has all three of them, Sehwag still lacks in the flamboyance department! Some qualities are inherently Punjabi, you see!

Seeing Yuvi's condition - cancer at 31 !! - I can only wonder about God's screwed up plans and our helplessness in front of him. Seriously God, what the hell were you thinking? There are way too many people across the border, who deserve this shit, but not Yuvi!

Here is me, wishing Yuvi all the luck in life for a fast recovery. Hope to see you on the field sometime this year, and hit 6 sixes to every baller who has ever crossed your path!

Furo dont know since how long u have been seriously following this game but still check out for some videos of tendulkar of the yesteryears (ie tendulkars style of play before 2000)..u would find sheer dominance, flamboyance, style, class, technique and consistency all in one displayed in an era which happened to see a major chunk of the all time best bowlers cricketing world has ever seen.its with injuries and age that he has modified his stye of play ..and still leaving few matches here and there he's effective enough.I seriously feel that in this indian team none of the youngsters including sehwag ,dhoni, yuvi, raina etc has the class, technique or calibure to face the likes of akram, walsh,ambrose,mc- grath ,donald, warne, gillespie in their prime..on bowler friendly wickets..these days the bowling standards in world cricket are on a all time low and still the team is performing miserably. but among the younger lot even dhoni on his day is very intimidating to the opposition he's also far more consistent and more reliable than many other's in the team.

I know sometimes God's ways seem convoluted. It was a really shocking news.
But then , sometimes, we just have to grin and bear through whatever life throws. With God's grace and the prayers of so many well wishers, he will be on the path to recovery soon.

I'll try 2 be truthful said...

I am surprised that even in a post like this people find a way to applaud someone and not even show any concern for the one who needs it.

Wishing Yuvi a very fast recovery..
