Do Dooni Chaar !

I know I know i am a couple of years late in watching Do Dooni Chaar, but frankly speaking it was worth the wait! It is the best movie I saw in a long time! :D

Ekdum bachpan ke din yaad aa gaye wo movie dekh ke! :D :D I specially looooved the acting of Rishi Kapoor, and the girl playing his daughter in the movie!

I don't know if any richie rich folks read this blog, but for the rest of us, the mango people, there are plenty of instances in the movie which just look like a copy paste from our lives! And specially the simplicity in the lives of Duggal family, made me sit and watch a complete movie after such a long time.

There is a scene in the movie, where Mr Duggal is talking to his wife over the phone and saying "Keema parantha, 45 Rupees ji". There was so much happiness and pride in his voice on making his small luxurious purchase! The scene took me some 7-8 years back in my life. I was in first year of college then and lived on humble monthly expenses. Every saturday our hostel mess was off, so we had to go out to eat. Believe it or not, that 30 rupees ka keema parantha was the most expensive purchase I used to make every week!! Life was so good when these small small things used to bring so much happiness! I even used to wait for Saturday to go out and spend my luxury money! :D :D

Good old days! Sigh!

I could even connect more to the movie as I am on the verge of purchasing my own first car! :D :D The tension of collecting the down payment, the huge bundle of papers for the loan guys, the EMI ki tension, the waiting period for the car! Sigh! :D

Some days I wake up as excited as a girl during her wedding shopping! :D And then I check the date, curse the car manufacturers for long waiting periods and then go back to sleep again! :D

By the way, did anyone else like the movie - Do Dooni Chaar?

Mumbai

There is practically nothing left to discuss on this topic. Same thing happens every couple of years, and the very next day, everything and everyone goes back to its normal routine! Barring the sudden euphoria among crazy news reporters, the rest of the country has started taking such events as casually as mid-summer rains!

We all should probably get funky t-shirts with some lovey dovey messages about Mumbai's spirit printed on the front, and LOSERS printed on the back!

Anyways, what startled me more was Shri Shri Rahul Gandhi's message that the government can not stop such attacks!! Dude! Instead of jogging around whole Uttar Pradesh and screwing with innocent investors' home purchases, do something better to stop such attacks! Or else such incidents will keep on happening, and we all will be using the Jute produced in the Greater Noida farmlands to make t shirt materials, and then print Coward and Losers on them!

Seriously, some days I feel so sorry that I live in a country whose leaders are so confident that they are practically incapable of defending its citizens' right to live...

Wapis aa hi gaye hum

Finally!!

So the other day I completed 4 years of corporate life. Four bloody long years! Or you can say just 4 years, and I have already started counting the number of years left for my retirement! :D Abhi to kam se kam sala 30 saal bache hain, lekin hame to abhi se budhapa aa gaya hai! :D :D

Living is a tiring job, seriously! :(

Waise, if you remember, I was cribbing about too many trips in my last post.. errr.. in between that post and this post, I went to another hill station! :D I have finally started getting tired of my trips! All I need now is a month long vacation, just like school times, when we do nothing except saying - Abhi to saala bahut lambi chutti baaki hai, thode din baad dekhte hain kya homework mila tha! :D

I seriously feel so jealous of school kids every morning! I used to reach my school in max 10 minutes, and was free by 1 pm! Uske baad to sirf ayyashi!! And these days, I am stuck in the cab for 1.5 hours in the morning and over 1.5 hours in the evening!! Bloody 3 hours in the cab wasted everyday! For this only reason I have started loathing Noida! Multiply 3 hours by the number of working days in 4 years, and you will realize that i have spent close to a few weeks sitting in the cab only! Sigh!

So much happened in this world during my absence from this blog! Another hilarious reality show - Ratan ka Swyamvar happened! Saala fir kat gaya poore hindustan ka! :(  Shaadi Shaadi ka shor machaya, and in the end she just ran away after exchanging 2 stupid rings! Sigh! Mazaak bana dia hai swyamvar ka :P

Anyways, read an awesome line today, which summarizes current state of my life beautifully!!

"...साला ढोल हो गया हूँ....जिसे देखो बजाये पड़ा है..." :D :D :D
