The worst thing about this internet era is that everyone who knows or doesnt knows anything are writing stuff on the internet!

I wanted to look up some tax related laws regarding loans, exemptions and stuff! I looked through 5 different websites, and all 5 of them said slightly different thing on the same topic!! Now i am confused which one is right and which one is wrong, and I dont have the patience to read through the pages and pages of tax laws! Phew.. Downsides of being illiterate in this country :(

What I am not able to understand is, when our PAN card is linked with every bank account, ever de-mat account, and every other transaction, why cant govt generate our tax form themselves? All they have to do is generate a tax form, and those who agree can file that up, and those who dont can discuss! I bet 70-80% of the people will agree with it and just file it up! Sigh!

Some of my friends working in other countries get a pre-filled form with all their details, and they just have to sign up and drop it in a box!! And others have these online software for various stages of tax filing such as - tax extension form 2010 . Some of these things will take ages to reach sadda India!

Anyways! So I am back in India! And as i always say, hum kahi jaayen aur drama na ho! Will post an interesting incidence that happened to me at the immigration check! :D Just bach gaya, warna aaj India me nahi, Romania ki jail me hota! :D
