Dhan te nan!
So the winters are out and the Spring is in! Weird place I tell you! On Friday evening, it was minus 4 degrees, and by Sunday afternoon, it rose to plus 18 degrees! Achanak! The weather changes in this part of the world are so sudden, that sometimes I feel koi saala 'The Truman Show' type maze le raha hai! Chalo aaj temperature bada ke dekhte hai, how do humans react! :D
Anyways, since the snow has melted, I can see the real colors of the buildings and the cars and the trees! Ooops! I just realized, I was so wrong!! Trees dont have white leaves here!! Neither are all the cars white!! Saala, 100Rs ki shart haar gaya main! :( :P :P
So after taking a long break of 2 months from photography, I decided that its time to take out my camera and click some memories! Yeah! The company has found my replacement and the countdown to my freedom has started! To state it more dramatically - Mujhe mera uttar-adhikari mil gaya hai.. ab bas soch raha hu use raj-pat saunp kar vanvas ko nikal loon! :P
Anyways, since I replaced the camera batteries, I wanted to take some test shots before going out there in the open. What can be a better kodak moment than the hostel room like clutter, which I have created in this house since past 5 months! Following are a few pics of my apartment, followed by brief description about them...
Scene 1 - The computer table!
Well,, as you can see, there is too much important stuff on the table, leaving absolutely no room for my laptop!! All I could fit over there was my tiny little Amazon Kindle, as a symbolic gesture of it being called the Computer Table! :D
There is some ketchup, empty biscuit packets, Chunky chaat masala, empty chai cups, nariyal ka tel, fused bulbs, old batteries, reading light and some other important items, which I cant even identify from the picture! Can you even name a single thing which is not important here? :D No right? :D
Scene two - The kitchen table
Nothing unusual here! The keys live with tomatoes and lemons, all the masala packets are comfortable with each other, and the big bottle of vinegar to make the 'sirke wala pyaaz' :D
Oh and the cap lives with the fruits. It reminds me to eat fruits before leaving home, as I got to go to that place to pick up my cap! (Old age = bad memory! Karne padte hain aise jugaad!)
Sometimes I feel that i should mix all the masalas and keep the mixture in a big container! Saala, sabko dalna to ek saath hi hai, fir itne sare packet kyu rakhne?? :D
Scene 3 - The Almirah (or as the firangi's call it - Closet)
I have always wondered that why do people keep stuff in Almirah's anyways? I mean I am just here for 180 days, so why take the hassle of arranging all the clothes in the Almirah, and then just 180 days later, taking them out again and arranging them in the suit-case? Double mehnat ! Ab is umra me itni mehnat nahi hoti bhai! :D
Jaisa bade log kehte hain - I live out of a suitcase! :D
Now lets see how many of you have ever lived in a hostel and can spot useful stuff in this clutter! You can click on the images to see the enlarged version. You got to spot the following items in the images!
Scene 1 - Half eaten MARS bar.
Scene 2 - Snickers
Scene 3 - A red colored stole (which we wear over sherwani's etc)
The winner gets 9 million bucks left in my name by my Nigerian uncle! :D
