If you have followed this blog for a month, i am assuming you would be shocked, but if you have been following this blog for a longer period, i am expecting a theatrical reaction - People fainting, pooja ki thaali falling to the ground (with the usual tannnnn, tannn, tan tan tan tan sound) and some chick screaming in the background - Nahiiiiiii.. with her hands on her ears!
Considering the fact that i was awarded - Rakhee Sawant's biggest fan (people's choice category) in the "World's Craziest People Awards", due to my long standing one-sided love with her, (here is a long list of my posts entirely dedicated to her), this post is a bit shocking.
I have been out of touch with the regular Indian television shows due to the time zone difference, except for Bigg Boss 4, which i watch without-fail every single day (Dolly bindra was awesome, right? :D )! I was sent a youtube link to the most abusive and physical episode of Rakhee ka Insaaf by my friend Dhakkan.
Man! I was shocked to see the episode! I mean the reaction was 50-50. One half of me was too excited to watch a live wrestling match between a man and a woman, and also the feelings with which that chick was uttering hindi abuses! Like i always say, a gaali means nothing unless spoken with the precise feelings for which it was made! And her expressions and feelings were bang on!! 10 on 10 !! :DBut yeah, i was a bit sad too. Is that all left for us to see? People abusing each others mothers and sisters on prime time television! The time when the whole family sits and eats together? Seriously?! For Gods sake, however we are today, but till we reached class 10th, no one in my class used the coveted MC and BC words! And what do you expect from the kids who see it flowing freely on dinner time
There is a fine line after which masala turns into cheapness!! And i am really sad to say, Rakheeje, aapne line cross kar di is baari! Phew! I would say, enough of these reality shows crap! Cant we have our good old singing and dancing competitions back? The good old Antakshari with Anu Kapoor saying - dada ready? 1-2-3 and Go!

Yep, ban her! Also ban Bigg Boss. Any poor kid who saw Dolly Bindra fighting and arguing and what-not would have had sleepless nights. Ditto if the kid saw Pam dressed in a sarong. :-P
U bet!!! Its height of selling something so cheap in the name of reality TV..!!! I really miss those good old reality shows like...anatakshari...Saregama the one hosted by sonu nigam... good old boggie woogie...and likes!
I swear you are so correct
all true.. but the last line made me prety nostalgic.. have quite forgotten that innocent era... amidst these sick - manupulative reality shows.
rakhi is odd..
