The Furobiker

After the hard work during the week, it feels like i have been waiting for a million years for the weekend. It feels i have grown old too in the past 5 days! My back is aching, hair falling, voice is hoarse.. phew
By the way, if you are wondering about the title of this post, its the time i open up the pandora of surprises! First the background.
There is Mr Kunte, who wrote a sarcastic and caustic blog around 26/11/2008, when mumbai was under attack! He blames barkha aunty for revealing the positions of the forces and other things by broadcastimg them on her NDTV channel. Here is the link to the blog (it is a cache in google, the guy has been forced to remove the blog by NDTV, scroll to the bottom after u open this link ) He also called Barkha an Idiot!  Which apparently is a bad word and he can be sued for it.
So NDTV threw its weight behind barkha and some people are saying it sued Kunte. So today sadly Kunte published an apology on his blog! (click here to read)
This is a very sad event for the bloggers and our freedom of speech. Does barkha has a backup of big media house, so she can do anything? She only has the right to speech? Why did not NDTV release an apology for blaming Aarushis father for allegedly mudering her? (Of the famous aarushi case of noida). Why didnt NDTV say sorry to the relatives of people killed/traumatised  in Mumbai attacks for playing with their feelings by asking how are you feeling?
I am really sad, sad for everyone who thinks freedom of speech is their birth right. From the present events it seems you have right to freedom of speech only if you are born with a surname of Dutt and first name of Barkha. or if you belong to NDTV. If you check google, (from the link above), all you can find is people dont like her anymore. And its the truth, which she and NDTV cant hide by suing a poor guy .. And yeah.. if you thinking abt suing me for writing this post.. Sorry i dont live in India.
