Yeah u read it right.. and it sounds as crap as pricing of iPhone in India. 31k for an 8Gb model and 36k for a 16 Gb model.. Are these airtel and vodafone guys fuc*ing insane!!
When the whole world is getting iPhone(8Gb) for USD 200 which comes roughly Rs 8,000 they are selling it for Rs 31,000.. more than 3 times and they call themselves smart!!!
Dear Airtel and Vodafone guys.. did you ever hear a word called Grey Market , i am very sure even Rakhi sawant must have heard it.. It is available for 20K and tht too unlocked.. which means people neednt carry ur fucking sim cards with it! and you want to give it for 31k with only your sim cards attached!!
Ok now.. here are few reasons why i would not buy an iPhone
- No Video recording!!!!
- No transfer by bluetooth.. so if u have 16Gb free memory and your friend has the latest song or MMS of the hottest gal, all you can do is swear, shout and bang your head.. you can not put anything in this phone which doesnt go through iTunes(a software from apple only) so, so , so .. you wanna put something in your iPhone.. go install iTunes on your comp and then u can put anything
- Can not use it as a wireless modem (if you are technically challenged then skip it)
- No front camera
- No flash
- No keyboard.. i mean we all type messages whole day!! we need a keyboard dude.. give us a small one only.. it will be really insane typying messages with that toothpick which you give!!!!
- No FM radio!!
- You CANNOT use your MP#3 songs as ringtone!! insane!!
- It is locked with the operator you take it from.. no other sim card allowed!
i wont pay 31k for this piece of shit! And you Voda and Airtel guys.. you are Indians.. you couldnt realize Indians would invent hack for your phone before it is launched??.. Assholes!

I guess not many will dance to the i(diotic)-tunes of this i(idiotic)-phone in i-ndia at this i-nsane price. You can get a good laptop and a super good desktop at this price, even if you don't buy from grey market.

I agree with you with the stated limitations... Along with this.. some other are:
1. you cannot FORWARD any SMS....
2. No ZOOM in camera
3. (there were several others also.. but i forgot remaining :D )
But the WORLD is not enough.... there are several CRAZY people/developers in this world who are developing OPEN SOURCE applications for iphone...
They cannot do anything about hardware.. but on software front.. you have no limitation on iphone... we have applications for SMS..for lockbox.. program for zoom upto 3x digital zoom is also available....
so we can say.. it should be said to be iphone's BETA version [:D] and beta versions should not be of such a high cost...
iPhone is worth taking.. BUT not from Airtel or Vodafone... you should take it from Grey market and enjoy it to the fullest (although grey market phone comes with a HELL lot of tension of NO WARRANTY and as per the statistics.. upto 10% iphones are found to be defective with some or othre problem arising within 5 months).
At the end.... by reading the title, i just thought of this old song...
