Happi Budday

It was my birthday on 24th march
Well it was no ordinary bday... now i am officially out of my teenage( birth certificate dikhaun kya??)....Well i am already feeling older now.. . I have reached 1/3 age of the proffs teaching me!!! The day started with uncountable birthday bumps.( do u think i normally sit on a pillow for whole day??). Then there started series of birthday wishes.. and i was hung up with my phone till 7 AM... The day was good. For a change you see everyone having a brigh smile on the face as they see you.. with an expecting glitter in their eyes.. ( party kab hai??)... Well jokes apart... 30-40 years from now when i will be bald/having all white hairs.. ( i prefer bald to white hairs) celebrating my bday with my grandchildren hanging all over me... and if i hear somewhere in the background the song Summer of 69 ... i will certainly remember this day as one of the best days of my life.....

And now the most dreaded part of the semister is coming .. yes the end sem exams...Also , I hope I do good this time . I am not really in an emotionally relaxed and free state these days . I haven't watched a movie over the last few days... and haven't even met my favouraite couple ( Pink floyd and vodka) for a long time .My career is at an amusingly crucial stage and my mental state , though relatively cool , compares well with a father of seven who has just been fired from his job , robbed on his way back , and informed of his wife's next pregnancy on getting home . I hope to get back with some good news soon.

And now to end this post a little ol' stupid joke.....
Laloo Prasad Yadav talks to his son to get married

Laloo : I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son : "I want to choose my own bride".
Laloo : "But the girl is Ambani's daughter."
Son : "Well, in that case......Yes"
Next Laloo approaches Mukesh Ambani
Laloo : "I have a husband for your daughter."
Ambani : "But my daughter is too young to marry."
Laloo : "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Ambani : "Ah, in that case.....Yes"
Finally Laloo goes to see the president of the WorldBank.
Laloo : "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President :"But I already have more vice-presidents than I need."
Laloo : "But this young man is Ambani's son-in-law."
President : "Ah, in that case.......Yes."
Now this is how business is done!!

When the Hell broke loose, in the City of Gods...

Hell broke loose when devil's descendents tried to rock the holy city of varanasi... An atmosphere of fear and confusion is prevailing in the temple town of Varanasi, a day after a series of bomb blasts killed 20-30 people and injured more 50 others.

The blasts took place at the famous Sankatmochan Temple , and the Cantonment railway station. The temple was crowded with devotees today being Tuesday , a day on which special prayers are offered to Lord Hanuman, and also several marriges were being held in the temple arena. The area is still splattered with blood and scattered with body parts and passengers' belongings soaked in blood.A third blast also was reported at the holding area of the platform at the Varanasi railway but it caused no damage.

A few live bombs were also discovered from dashashwamesh and gowdholia which are amongst the most crowded places in the city. One thing is simply clear, its the handiwork of terrorists, which wanted to harm as many as human beings as they can , as they selected few of the most crowded and closed spaces in the city.

A few of the IT BHU students are also hurt in the incidence, as it was the peak time for students going for their coaching classes which began from 6:30 pm.And the timings of blast were 6:15 and 6:25 pm.We all were sitting in classes when the information about blasts came and soon everyone rushed for their respective hostels.

The whole way from sankatmochan to Sunderlal hospital was jammed, as you all must be knowing the conditions of the roads in varanasi, and other way was being used for carrying hurt people from the blast site to the hospital.

An ex-gratia amount of Rs 5,000,00 for the kins of the dead and Rs 1 lakh for the injured has been announced by the govt.Seviral dignitaries of the govt have also visited varanasi since the blast, which include Ms Sonia Gandhi, Mulayam singh,Shivraj Patil and a few more...

Just 20 hrs prior to the blast former crickter 'Ajay Jadeja' was present in Sankatmochan temple, as he was there in the Valedictory function for SPARDHA, the All India Annual Sports meet in IT BHU.

After the blasts the situation is vrey tense out here in varanasi, an un announced curfew has been imposed, seems there is "Banaras Band" ,all the shops are closed, no public transport available, police and STF all around. The timing of the incident is really bad for the students as the students were to leave on thursday and friday for Holi vaccations. But as for now they are trapped in their hostels. Situation outside BHU is not good to roam around. The danger of communal riots is also increasing.

What we can do sitting out here in the hostels is just pray to God.... Let the souls of those died in blasts rest in peace, and those injured recover fast.....

Signing off.....

Read these lines somewhere, long ago.. Dont know why remembered these last night..

"There is something i would like to understand. And i dont think anone can explain it...There is your life..You begain it , feeling that its so precious and rare, so beautiful that its a sacred treasure. Now its over, and it doesnt make a difference to anyone, and it isnt that they are indifferent, its just that they dont know, they dont know what it means, the treasure of mine, and there is something about it that they should understand. I dont understand it myself , but there is something that should be understood by all of us, Only .. What is it??? What???"

There are some days in your life which you call as 'one of those bad days' when everything goes wrong, when things just go out of your control, you just find yourself going on the wrong side on a one way, everything is going against you...Suddenly everyone seems so cold, even having a glance in the mirror seems so hideous...

These are some of the days when i just wanna run away to somewhere.. where its no on e except i , me and myself... just wanted to shut down or hibernate my social life... but as a matter of fact, i m always surrounded by close friends that i cant just run away... in such times you have no option but to just dump such feelings in abyss of your hearts, and at that times it just feels that i m stifling..." Kuch bhi na kaha, kuch kah bhi gaye, kuch kahte kehte rah bhi gaye...."

Its really strange that luck favours you sometimes.. in the most abominable situations, but thats what we call life.. you get yourself the most screwed up when your own fundas ,with the help of which, you have won not just battles, but wars, seem to just fall back, crash without making any sound, and you find nothing to rely upon , nothing to hold back to, its just darkness...

Well this is life.. It just screws you right there, when you think you have just figured it out....
