Extremely Busy...
Dont DARE disturb: I am running frm the LAW ( NFS Most Wanted)
Ninni aayi hai ...........
busy very busy

working
Here I am ..This is me..There's no where else on earth i'd rather be.
Game Over.
Dont Disturb... AOE time...

Well this is a small collection of status messages on my G-Talk list.. sometimes i wonder why people keep status messages at all. And hey most of them donn Busy , Very Busy, Working , Dont disturb.. etc etc and a hell lot of more like this only.. When you are so busy , why cant you just sign out, shut down your computer and go back to work, or even if you are Busy working on your mean machine, just sign out...But people have their own reasons.. " I am available for her only, busy for all others.. " sometimes you feel good to hear that... after all A friend is someone who thinks you're a good egg even though you're slightly cracked, well i still call him a good egg!!!

Basically , what i suppose status messages were provided to show what are you doing at the moment, or what are you feeling now.. but invariably people use them as weapons of mass destruction( WMD as Bush uncle would say) you can guess how....

Sometimes status messages are also used for bragging.. Thats exactly what i do!! I put " Studying Hard, Very Busy studying" whereas i am killing time just surfing the net or otherwise...and hey sometimes people take my status messages seriously, and lo.. there are 3 guys fighting to sit near me in the exams.. ( they think i have really been studying hard, frm past 1 month)

In the meantime, reading other people's status messages are also usually entertaining and interesting. Some may go mushy, some may sound busy, while some have no sense at all. It is also one way of looking into their personality.

So what is your status message??

A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.

But hey found a really nice status message just now " Status message kya pad rahe ho, jakar padai karo"

Well to end this post a joke...

A college professor asked his class a question. If Philadelphia is 100 miles from New York and Chicago is 1000 miles from Philadelphia and Los Angles is 2000 miles from Chicago, how old am I.
One student in the back of the class raised his hand and when called upon said "Professor your 44.."
The Professor said "you're absolutely correct, but tell me how did you arrive at the answer so quickly?"
The student said. "You see professor I have a brother, he's 22 and he's half nuts."

Life's boooooring....

Well i am not in a mood to write today much , but have no one around to kick off a palaver ( or BC as we fondly call it).... most of the regular guys have dropped to sleep.. after badly screwing todays test....so let me ponder upon how were past few days since my last post.....

And before i could realize it was here... Well the much awaited moment came and sped away in the blink of time... The experience was ephemeral yet enthralling. 4 months of preperation , tens of sleepless nights, hundreds of meetings ... but time never cares for anyone .. it came and passed... TECHNEX 2006 is over.... and the results were nothing but truimph, sensation and conquest... literally and figuratively... people say so...

Just after that began the ghostly era of MIDSEMS or what we call the first periodicals....back to back 6 days in a row, the killing feel , in which neithr you study nor could follow any other passion properly... sometimes i do ask myself... Why the hell are these tests present in the system ???... but i always get the same reply... 59 years down the line , Indians still havent left the traces that once upon the time we were slaves of britishers.. how can we leave the system which our masters taught us....

And yes 14th feb , Valentines day... most of us smirk , some blush on the mention of this date.. :-)
It was just ok.. nothing much to do , atleast in this holy city of varanasi... Started the day with wishing my next door mechie.. Rajesh.. or DAED as we call him... and spent rest of it appearing for a periodical and prepairing for the next....had some plans... but will execute them after a few days... if intersted then read on...

Met a girl a few days back.. during the event technex... the girl scanned me for a few seconds...smiled back at the odd mechie looks of mine...(u know not so shareef , to hell with decency.. and definitely sort of rapchik style of talking) I think she liked those rough looks...After the formal intro and all that... we bye byed each other.. ( m not so busy at times but she is) again i got a cute smile from her... it wasnt the ' go to hell ' smile every othr mechie gets from girls also not the formal smile which a stupid co convener of the fest should get... i think she liked me in a cute way.... hey there.. if u remember that moment.. just wanted to tell u i still think about you...Wanted to wish her on 14th .. but have a hell lot of bagful or must say roomful of work to be done...

And nothing much to write here anymore... just wahi zindagi.. wake up 7:55 then 8 am class.. fir lunch fir class.. fir BC ... fir PT.. fir dinner fir BC ... fir sleeping.. fir agli morning.. same vicious circle.... and haan i m going home this weekend.. why?? arre yaar just to get savoured by " Maa ke haath ka khana" ... has been more than two long months since i went there...

its around 3 in the morning .. but i dont feel like sleeping.... i think i will start up English august now... i heard that its a nice book.. and hey i think i will talk to her in a week or so...

signing off..

VALENTINES WEEK.......

Sunday, February 05, 2006

Today i called up an old pal around 762 kms away frm me.. in delhi... After just usual palaver she enquired about my valentine week celebration.. Valentine WEEK!! i was a bit amazed.. although i heard last year but never thought it exists actually.... Well instead of the usual lines " Valentine week is around the corner".. now it has become a whole street instead of a corner!!!

As usual the the typical heart shaped baloons and love soaked ballads have started appearing out...Remember the old days when making love was expressed by turning the camera towards infinity or by showing two flowes hugging each other.... the times have certainly changed.. Now a good show of love or as the critics call it PDA ( Public Display of Affection) has become the quintessential part of life...

The packaging of love is also changing drastically every nanosecond... Where it started from love letters then to sending love cards.. then to sending E-Cards.. then love SMSes.. and the list goes on and on ..But as the old rule of thumb says.. " You cant increase the quantuty and quality at the same time" ( its version for mechanical enggs.. you cant increase Torque and RPM at the same time!!!) Love is being revolutionased with the gizmo-isation of the society...

Guys and gals are turning more and more towards live in relationships..The online dating funda is catching heat day by day.. its becoming the next most earning job( after owning a tel ka kuan!!) We are becoming so called more and more open and progressive but i still belive love is all about trust ( although my mind has started dwindling!!! ) And hey this mobile mania has helped more and more in philandering...it has helped in making and breaking tons and tons of affairs... noone now is sure about will love last forever or will take the same route as the previous affair!!!

As quoted by a great author "Falling in love is as easy as falling from a bicycle , and as painful as that"...maybe thats why people have started celebrating a valentine week instead of Valentine day!!! ( Aakhir gaadi khareedne se pehle do- chaar din gaadi ka test drive le lene mein kya burai hai!!! to lo ab aap pura hafta test drive le sakte hain :D )

But well jokes apart.. getting yep with the society do counts... but hey then no one would want a partner with jheel si aankhen .. jismein doooobke u can spend your whole life with her...or spending your whole life with someone whom your parents selected for you and you eventually met her for the first or second time on your marrige ceremony!!!
their are still a huge bag of things which count in life .... and they can be found out or rather experienced after getting to know a bit more about each other... which the elderly people will state as Live in relationships....

ABE JAB TAK GAADI KI TEST DRIVE NAHI LEGA , TAB TAK KAISE PATA CHALEGA KI 6 FOOT KE AADMI KA PAIR MARUTI 800 MEIN FIT NAHI AATE ?????

Do give it a thought....
